WRITE A FIVE-POINT PRESENTATION ON PRAYER THAT YOU HAVE LEARNT ON THIS PLATFORM.
Prayer Makes No Condition Permanent
I have learnt so much on this platform most especially about prayer. Prayer is a practice of communicating with one’s God/god. As a Christian, it is our own way of communicating our thoughts, needs, and desires to God because it is written in Mark 11:24 that “whatever we ask for in prayer and believe that we have received it, it will be ours. Nothing is more valuable and rewarding in life than prayer because a prayerless Christian is a powerless Christian.
There are so many benefits one can derive from prayer/praying.
1) Prayer makes no condition permanent
Prayer makes no condition permanent rather it changes situations, connects humanity to divinity, and draws God’s attention to our situations of life (eg) In 1 Samuel 1:11-13 the Bible made us to know that Hannah kept on praying until God’s attention was drawn to her situation and God changed her condition of childlessness and gave her a son.
2) Prayer is the most powerful weapon of a Christian
Prayer is the most powerful weapon a Christian should have for the weapon of our warfare is not carnal 2 Cor. 10:4-6. Paul and Silas had no weapon like a gun, matchet, arrow, etc. but they prayed and sang praises unto God at midnight and the power of God came down and fought their battle Acts 16:25-34.
3) Jesus Christ is the originator of prayer.
He started and ended His ministry here on earth with prayer. He also taught us how to pray in Matt. 6:9-13 and equally urged us to pray effortlessly without ceasing in 1 These. 5:17.
4) Prayer puts your burdens on God’s shoulder.
Jesus said in the book of 1 Peter 5:17 that we should cast all our cares, anxieties, burdens, inabilities, etc., on Him for He cares for us. Job cast his burdens on Jesus even in times of trials. Job 1:20b says “then he fell to the ground in worship” and God lifted him up because when men are cast down, then thou shalt say, there is lifting up Job 22:29.
5) Prayer commands heaven.
Jesus said in 2 Chron. 7:14 that if my people, which are called by my name will humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and heal their land. King Hezekiah prayed to the Lord and God healed him of his illness and added extra years to his years 2 Kings 20:1-11.
In conclusion, prayer is all that we need in order to survive in this wicked world.
